Training period following ARinfuse online event Augmented Reality & Geospatial Technologies within the utilities sector” ended.

The ARinfuse ERASMUS+ project partners from Cyprus, GeoImaging Ltd, Cyprus University of Technology and the Sewerage Board of Nicosia are happy to announce the end of the training period started after the end of online event “Exploiting the potential of Augmented Reality & Geospatial Technologies within the utilities sector”. The event, that took place January 28, 2021 and the and training action that followed was attended by 85 engineering students and professionals in Cyprus and abroad interested in the function, appliance and benefits of Augmented Reality and geospatial technologies in the utilities sector.

During the event, the ARinfuse project was introduced and the full ARinfuse catalogue of training modules on Augmented Reality and Geoinformatics applied within the utility infrastructure sector was presented. During the special session that followed, various invited stakeholders from Cyprus shared practices, experiences as well as prospects of adopting innovative tools in the domains of AR, VR and smart geospatial.

All of the event participants received unrestricted and unlimited access to the project lectures, software and training material with the option to receive guidance upon request by the ARinfuse project international trainers.

ARinfuse Erasmus+ project that aims to in-fuse skills in Augmented Reality for geospatial information management in the context of utility underground infrastructures is officially coming to and end at the end of February 2021.
